Uncloud Coffee
Uncloud Coffee sits strategically on Khao Lam Road in Chonburi Province, occupying a sharply triangular site adjacent to the main thoroughfare leading from Bang Saen, with majestic mountain views forming a stunning backdrop. The architectural plan masterfully exploits the site's triangular shape, extending the building along the roadside in three core zones: a welcoming main entrance that combines a bar and seating area, an outdoor lounge encapsulated within a verdant courtyard, and a tranquil internal area for seating and client workspaces.
Inspired by the spectral allure of the Aurora Borealis, the design abstractly interprets these atmospheric light displays. The building’s form echoes the dynamic, sweeping patterns of the northern lights, with its structure gracefully arching along the roadway, melding effortlessly with its environment. The design introduces uninterrupted, sinuous lines that connect all spaces internally and externally, fostering a cohesive architectural journey.

Showroom SP Berner
The company's furniture showroom is located in a warehouse to the west of the industrial complex of this plastics multinational.
The program is subdivided into two areas: one for access and meetings and the other for product display. Both spaces are distinguished by a material change of great contrast between black and white, marking a very defined boundary line between spaces.
The project, with its strong geometric and plastic character, contrasts with the discretion and subtlety of the surrounding space in order to give prominence to the product on display.
The leitmotiv of the project is to generate a sequence of volumes that integrate and frame each piece. These cubes are configured in size and dimension according to the quantity and dimensions of each product. Each volume is formalized in a box of pure and perfect geometry composed of two pieces. A base as a support for the product and another box that emerges from the ceiling with the mission of housing the lighting as a lantern. ...
The Back to Front House
Originally one of a row of 4 identical sandstone terrace houses built in 1863, the house was entered via a long front garden from Victoria Street.
In 1980 the front half of the site was subdivided off and another building constructed on the Victoria Street frontage, leaving a small remnant of the front garden as a now rear courtyard and the main entry consigned to the rear lane.
A two storey brick rear wing was added at a later date, containing the kitchen and a bathroom. The brief was to create a more appropriate entry to the house, open the living spaces to the rear courtyard, extend the existing small attic and add an additional bathroom to serve the attic.
Located in a Heritage Conservation Area, the local Council wanted the later rear wing retained, as it was over 100 years old and insisted that all new work be clearly differentiated from the original house. The new work is expressed as a three storey steel clad tower, with steel framed windows and sun hoods, while the original sa ...
LUX
The land is located between the beginning of the urban tissue and of Barra beach´s dunes - Ilhavo, given its location, the project is based on absorbing all the characteristics present in the place, personifying the horizontality present in the horizon line is the concept for the building, which translates into the blades created around the main body. In this way, the volume created seeks an elevation and design relationship in order to give continuity to the existing urban fabric. In order for there to be harmony between the new and the place, the building seeks to absorb the predominant textures and tones in its materiality. The ocher concrete of the sheets and the green of the zinc show the color of the sand and vegetation, thus molding the building to the place. The sea and natural light are predominant elements both outside and inside the building, its opening to the horizon defines the projection of the design lines.

Le Grand Palais
Transformed by Chatillon Architectes, the major restoration has been underway since 2021, with the first phase set to be unveiled to the public this summer and the full completion slated for 2025.
Although conceived as a temporary Beaux-Arts palace, the Grand Palais has become one of the most timeless monuments in Paris. Built by the French Republic for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, the Grand Palais is nestled in the heart of the city and serves as an icon of artistic excellence. Over the course of a century, the building became the international showcase of the French cultural scene, hosting the world's greatest exhibitions and events.
Throughout history, the Grand Palais faced fragmentation and neglect, and was even once slated for demolition. Over time, areas of the building have been closed off to the public, resulting in limited access to events and visitor disorientation.
Chatillon Architectes, known for their adept transformation of existing structures, has approached this proje ...
Snidanishna
In mid-March 2024, the Snidanishna cafe opened in one of the central districts of Kharkov on Nauki Avenue 35, which also acts as a store for farm, craft products, decor and handicrafts.
The IK-architects team managed to renovate the premises of a former Italian restaurant and create an incredibly cozy interior of 150 m2 with a cool, original, Ukrainian atmosphere and no less original cuisine. The main task for the designer from the clients was to create a unique, modern Ukrainian interior, where they respect culture and traditions, but at the same time do not go into “sharovarshchina” with embroidered shirts on the walls.
The “Snidanishna” project is, first of all, a collective image of Ukraine: here you will find a sketch from the Stryisky district of the Lviv region, and a tapestry with Zmievsky steeps from the Kharkov region, dishes for serving dishes were made to order in the village of Oposhnya, Poltava region, and all the furniture in indoors is modern Ukrainian industrial de ...
E19 Apartment
The concept of the apartment reconstruction project in one of the first tenement buildings in Prague built in the functionalist style was based on three pillars: space (emptiness), light, and solitaires within it.
In the first phase of reconstruction, the apartment was cleansed of all unsuccessful and disastrous accretions of time. The space itself began to radiate. Following this strong feeling, the idea arose to keep the generosity of the emptiness, and even enhance it.
The project became a kind of small laboratory exploring the limits of material possibilities, furniture construction, and durability.
The architect designed a large, atypical furniture block permeating the entire apartment and containing everything needed - at the entrance, two utility rooms, and a wardrobe; the mass continues further through the space, hiding storage spaces, concealing the kitchen behind bifold doors, and accommodating two smaller bathrooms. The rest of the apartment was left simple, complemented o ...
Czech Promotion Offices Vol. 2
After 6 years, we are returning to Palác Karlín, the headquarters of the marketing agency Czech Promotion, to create another distinctive office space of over 1000 m2, which differs from the current design trends with its airiness, diverse structures and recycled materials.
The layout accentuates 2 key requirements: movement and communication. The main element of the open space is a dynamic multifunctional corridor filled with round mini meeting rooms.
Recycling was a key element of the project, with the aim of finding sustainable, logistically and economically accessible materials, reflecting one of the agency's most important philosophies, to design functional solutions that maximise the desired effect at the lowest possible cost.
In the interior, you will find a window constructed with wine bottles, glass walls made from the original windows of the Palác Karlín, second-hand doors, wire mesh ceilings extending over the columns, and wooden wall panelling made from old beams. Th ...

Loft in Centro Storico
Casa Ricardo
Penthouse located in the Right Eixample of Barcelona, with an area of 70m2, which originally had a highly compartmentalized layout. The intervention reduces the divisions to essentials to accommodate the needs of a single user looking to live and work in a space without hierarchies.
To this end, the program is organized around a staggered system, where each level serves a distinct function, defining uses without the need for strict compartmentalization and interconnected rooms; and where user is made aware of transitions between spaces through the ascent in the steps.
Three platforms are proposed, along with a compartmentalization structure without enclosures, achieved through floating partition pieces that provide visual privacy between different areas while allowing constant utilization of light from both facades.
The common area is located at the original level of the dwelling, acting as a hinge between, on one side, the kitchen-dining area elevated to the terrace level to enhance th ...

A quick buck
The basic idea of the space
Based on the idea of METAVERSE, the showroom successfully combines physical reality with the virtual world. A Quick Buck in Moscow has become not just a showroom, but a whole experience where virtual and real intertwine, creating a whirlwind of innovation and style. Screens and cubes turn the space into a canvas of fashion ideas, and faux fur gives it coziness and luxury.
"A lot of tactile elements: fur, concrete, metal in one space with broadcasts of the brand's products."
Also the "chip" of the interior became light fitting rooms - an ideal place for photo shoots. We paid special attention to their uniqueness, so each fitting room is fully covered with fake fur and has an individual color: pink, blue, yellow and green. We incorporated faux fur into key interior elements: décor, furniture and part of the flooring.
"The faux fur seems to create picturesque swirls, spreading throughout the store."
In the main hall there is a cozy sofa made of pink fur, design ...
Coral House
Named Coral House because of its coral floors and decks, this seaside home is intimately tied to nature from its conception. From the choice of the coral stone that our client loved so much, to the design that was worked around all the existing palm trees, so that none had to be cut down.
Our clients dreamed of spending time by the sea, enjoying the company of family and friends. They pictured a spacious and open house, even though the land was long and narrow. The solution: we extended the project to the sides, placing the circulation around the perimeter of the house and bringing the ranch as close as possible to the beach, almost merging the coral floor with the sand itself.
One of the most outstanding details of Casa Coral are the beautiful ceilings that, due to their height, refresh the spaces and give a feeling of amplitude. But the most surprising thing is the combination of materials: coraline on the outside and castile rods on the inside.
Like a shell that looks hard and ...
Swiss Embassy Singapore
In 2019, Berrel Kräutler Architekten won an open project competition for the complete renovation and extension of the Swiss Embassy in Singapore against 53 competitors. The existing chancery building, built in 1984, presents itself as a flat bungalow embedded in a scenic park landscape on the northern edge of Singapore. The architecture is perfectly adapted to the tropical vegetation and the needs of the prevailing climate. The previously protruding corner of the roof at the main entrance violated the integrity of the square pavilion. «Flamingo» is largely based on the existing structure and completes its overall shape. The roof now extends in a simple, rectangular shape over all the offices. The previously open corner at the main entrance has been completed and the outer façade has been moved one meter outwards to create space for a tripling of workstations and common areas.
The new load-bearing structure is limited to a few precise measures that are based on the existing buildin ...
Renovation tourist apartament Galiana 6 arena in Avilés, Asturias (Spain)

YURU
Perched discreetly on the second floor of a courtyard building, YURU beckons guests into a tranquil haven, offering refuge from the relentless sensory onslaught of the urban landscape of downtown Budapest.
Commissioned with the task of metamorphosing a secluded, sterile office space and its accompanying terrace, Noumen Studio embarked on a transformative journey to create a sanctuary of sushi and sake. Central to this vision was the itamae [sushi chef] of YURU, whose mastery of sushi craft was honed in the esteemed kitchens of high-class Danish restaurants. A fusion of cultures ensued, intertwining the ethos of Japanese Zen with the coziness of Danish Hygge, resulting in a spatial narrative that transcends mere physicality, guiding patrons towards a realm where gastronomy and serenity harmonize seamlessly.
The space unfolds into two distinct realms: the terrace, stretching along the elongated corridor facing the inner courtyard, and a modest 30-square-meter indoor sanctuary, anchored by ...
