Spotti Milano has revealed their renovated space in Milan’s Viale Piave with Instant Panorama, the new concept curated by Studiopepe. Instant Panorama portrays a sophisticated and timeless interior, where lights, colours, textures and shapes come together in harmony to depict the unending dialogue between tradition and contemporary design. Visitors are greeted by an unexpected sight: wallpaper created by Wall & Deco and designed by Studiopepe exclusively for Spotti comes into view and reinterprets the traditional look of interiors.
The layout is characterised by a palette of bright colours, ranging from rust to green, and blue to pink, mixing with the black and white graphic elements of custom fabrics and the brilliance of vintage Berber carpets. In the sleeping area lit by Rudi Loop from Roll&Hill, the blue velvet Tufty bed by B&B Italia is matched with the new Palette Desk by &tradition featuring shelves, brass and green stained timber.
In the dining area, the Plinto table from Meridiani Editions takes centre stage, with an oil lacquered shelf and brass base, surrounded by pink velvet Febo chairs by Maxalto and lit by the Modo brass pendant lamp by Roll & Hill.
In the window, Gubi dominates with the collection of mirrors by Gio Ponti that reflect a refined atmosphere featuring the Gelosia screen by Spotti Edizioni. The latter forms the backdrop for bottle green velvet Beetle chairs matched by the iconic Gubi round table, lit by the elegant essentiality of the Mobile Chandelier 8 by Michael Anastassiades.
The living area extends into the adjacent window, where the classic Chester Moon sofa by Baxter in emerald leather is matched with the rust velvet Beetle armchairs by Gubi, modern seating with shapes inspired by the past and complemented by Berber carpets that, as one-of-a-kind works of art, create a harmonious composition together with the Vertical1 floor lamp by Areti.
The meeting area was completely redone and transformed into an exotic compartment with large woven hemp carpets and walls entirely upholstered in shades of terracotta pink, against which the rectangular Kalahari table in solid panga-panga stands out.
The display area is enclosed by rectangular versions of the Gubi mirrors, reflecting the new floor-to-ceiling pivoting panels by Spotti Edizioni, upholstered in Tangram fabric by Dedar, providing the backdrop to the new dining room.
