The project’s name comes from its location: the house is uniquely located near the Kipopo lake in Lubumbashi, Congo. A central theme throughout the whole project is the thin line between nature and design. The environment and the property seem to harmonize just right. The outcome of the project wholly captures this idea, creating a warm and spacious environment respectful of the local materials and building techniques.In terms of CGI, I focused on recreating Congo's warm look and feel and its unique nature. The landscape depicted in the imagery was modeled by hand, piece by piece. No photos were used for this project.All visualizations for this project were created by me.
