Fusion Design Consultants has reimagined the modern design and build of Hinckley Allen‘s new offices headquarters, located in Boston, Massachusetts. Fusion Design Consultants, Inc. worked closely with Hinckley Allen on the re-stack and expansion of their existing Boston headquarters. Inspired by the office’s amazing views of downtown Boston and the harbor, the newly finished space is bright, modern and airy while still maintaining the timeless and professional atmosphere of an established law firm. A key goal of the project was increasing meeting space, which we accomplished by designing a more efficient layout. By restructuring the room sizes, the design now allows for increased conference seat count as well as additional informal meeting areas. A trio of spaces adjacent to reception was fit-out to be flexible, multi-use spaces that can transform from separate meeting rooms to one large meeting space or can be fully opened up for office social functions. Since the project was a mix of finish refresh and new construction, certain elements were determined to remain. Perhaps most dramatic was the finish refresh of the existing elevator lobby. We applied bright white paint to the existing dark woodwork, and with the introduction of new lighting and finishes, the lobby is now an elegant and welcoming first impression of Hinckley Allen’s timeless new office space.
