Lorenzo Cota / Creative has designed the offices for Raymond, a menswear company, located in New York City, New York. For Raymond America, an international bespoke menswear retailer, we designed their U.S. headquarters located in Times Square, NYC. The program for the space included incorporating private offices, a creative design space, lounges and a showroom within the 7,500 SQ FT footprint. Our design studio concept for the space was to translate their brand for the U.S. market. By incorporating warm earth tones, neutrals, oxidized live edge wood and forged metal we created an aesthetic that would become their U.S. brand standard. To introduce an almost residential feel within the space, we contrasted the hard materials with warm lighting fixtures; including a neon accent and greenery. The standards we developed for the HQ, were then incorporated into new spaces as the brand expanded. Our studio scaled the standards as we developed our preliminary designs for Raymond’s Macy’s shop-in-shop in Herald’s Square; which later became known as Tailor Square. It is our prototypical design and brand standards that serve as the foundation for their new locations nationwide.
