Höst is an embodiment of the clash betweenromanticism and modernity – a space of multiple stories intertwining andcorrelating to form an inspirational and aesthetic universe for allsenses. An obvious and reoccurring characteristic of both concept and cooperationis the juxtaposition of elements. Höst is rustic gone simplistic. Rural goneurban. Past gone contemporary. The classic virtues of Nordic cooking have foundits contemporary counterpart at Höst. The result is a careful balance between minimaland rustic, the hard edge of urbanity and the whimsical romance of rural Scandinavia. It straddles these worlds with ease byexercising restraint on all accounts. Soft greenery, recycled windows andindustrial lighting are combined with the crisp perfect geometry of the customdesigned dinnerware and classic contemporary furniture. Höst is an earthyminimalist retreat in the centre of Copenhagen.
