什么是优秀的设计

　　这是一个在不同的时代有着不同的答案的问题;正因为它没有一个固定的答案，所以说设计不是一成不变的，它是不断的通过科技、文化、和时代精神的积累所形成的一种多变性的概念。因此答案是会因时间的变迁而改变的。设计穿越时空，设计能力与时代背景相依存，相辅相成;所以说设计是一个时代文明的代表和窗口。现在的工业设计流程复杂，技术含量高，越来越不是一个人所能完全掌握的，一定是靠集体的智慧才能达到的。

　　是设计的自我阐述，优秀的产品设计常常不需要使用用户指南便能成功的传达;设计的本身就告诉你应如何使用它，通过感知和理解。设计阐述功能。
　　功能
　　旨在服务于偏向实用型的主体功能和补充功能。一个功能设计解决一个具体问题,并在设计中对这个功能进行了优化。
　　外观和风格
　　是优秀设计的基本元素;他们是创造和设计的基础，外观和风格确保产品拥有吸引力、感官质量和高附加值。一个美观的产品应具备着“内在的无法抗拒的魅力”和“直接感受到的品质”两个条件。
　　创新
　　一个创新的设计能成为产品或服务的突破点，它也可以是一个现有产品和服务的重新设计：一个突破性的产品能给市场和用户提供一个新的，以前没有过的功能，当新的设计是现有的产品功能得到了改善就大大的增加了产品的价值。
　　诚实
　　一个诚实的设计如实的传达了产品本身能提供的功能和价值。不可以通过设计来操纵买家或用户让他们误以为产品可以提供夸大的功能和价值。
　　责任
　　优秀的设计有责任考虑和关心环保问题，例如材料是否经久耐用，是否可以反复使用，是否可以回收;是否无污染，是否是可持续发展的。
　　消费群定位
　　一个优秀的设计应该在最大限度上提高消费者的便捷为设计目标，而消费群定位能为物质和非物质提供有价值的参考，以此提高消费者的满意度与生活水平。
