For the innovative tech giant, AvroKO was charged with transforming the company’s traditional cafeteria space into an eating and gathering sanctuary. Centered around the theme of the tech craftsman and creating an intimate yet expansive space, AvroKO dropped the ceiling height and divided the space into zones setting up permeable membranes to help give shape to more snug areas without losing the grandeur of the 4,000 sq. ft. room. Other key elements include a variety of seating at different heights, a large bar with intricate shelving system for food display, menu board, wall of greenery, ping pong tables, interactive peg board art feature chronicling the history of employees at the company, a custom-designed Chesterfield couch that sits on wheels and separates into sectionals, and movable pavilions draped with fabric.
