CHADA was commissioned by the owners of this hotel in 2013 to redesign a number of guest areas within the hotel. The scope of work included the conversion of an existing Executive Club Lounge on the 25th floor into 11 new executive level guestrooms as well as the refurbishment of the existing 359 guestrooms, corridors and lift lobby areas.The design involved combining Swissôtel authentic European brand heritage with its contemporary Sydney locale. A later review of the hotel Ground Floor arrival lobby and Reception facilities necessitated the redesign of the reception area and the entire concierge facility, which were completed progressively late 2014 to mid-2015 . The first stage of the hotel guestrooms refurbishment was completed in late 2014 with the work progressing in 2015 and 2016.
