Robert A.M. Stern’s reinterpretation of the classic pre-war apartment building appears to have grown organically out of the fabric of the neighborhood. The two-story handset pale Indiana limestone base is a warm addition to the streetscape, carrying on the New York tradition of stone and brick façades.
