Instagram is not short on plant-filled pages devoted to all things green. Separating the wheat from the weeds can be hard, however, so weve put together a list of the best Instagram accounts for plant inspiration, to help you on your way to creating your own indoor jungle.

@conservatory_archives

Conservatory Archives started as a small space in east London where the vegetation is so dense that its hard to walk through. It quickly became a green oasis for the local community, and now their feed documents the permanent and temporary installations they have created across London, plus goings-on from the shop, which youll soon want to visit.

@haarkon_

India Hobson and Magnus Edmondson create bespoke photography projects under the moniker Haarkon, with a focus on natural spaces. Their work takes them around the world and the duo share green-tinged snaps from places like Japan, Barbados and California, interspersed with shots of their ever-growing plant collection at their home in Sheffield.

@houseplantjournal

Our houseplants would be mere tumbleweed if it weren’t for the sage advice of Darryl Cheng, who has answered hundreds of questions about plant care in his time. “My account is about the basics of responsible plant parenthood,” says Cheng, adding “a green thumb isn’t about luck but being observant and knowing how Mother Nature takes care of her house plants.”

@urbanjungleblog

Igor of Happy Interior Blog and Judith of JOELIX are friends and bloggers whose shared love for greens interiors and plants resulted in a collective project called Urban Jungle Bloggers. Their feed looks to build a community of urban-dwelling plant keepers by featuring posts that use #urbanjunglebloggers, while also highlighting the health and wellbeing benefits of green living in the city.

@jamies_jungle

When Jamie Song moved into an apartment in a former hydraulic power station in south-east London, he felt inspired to take advantage of a large skylight by filling the space with colourful tropical plants. He began posting snaps of his ‘jungle’ on Instagram, sharing his green goings-on and more-than-welcomed updates from his cat, La La.

@studio.roco

Purveyors of all things green, best-selling authors and designers Ro Co (aka Rose and Caro) have long been growing an audience of eager urban gardeners who, like them, believe that life in the city is more joyful with a potted plant (or ten) as company. Often entwining their wild planting designs with industrial and mid-century modern interiors, their feed offers an abundance of inspiration, as well as practical tips for both beginner and seasoned indoor gardeners.
