Areazero 2.0 was tasked with the design of Edenred‘s offices, an online expense platform, located in Barcelona, Spain. After we did the Edenred’s offices in Madrid last year, they repeated with us for the Barcelona headquarters project, on the request that we furthered the image proposed for Madrid. The new offices are located at the WTC Alameda Park, in Cornellá. It is a 1,342m2 area with natural light over the whole facade perimeter, creating a sense of spaciousness and clarity throughout the space. Edenred’s demand began with work in open-space, but especially taking care of and putting the right means for good acoustic quality. In order to address this issue, different elements were added, such as separators with acoustic panels, panels on the ceiling, phonoabsorbant fabrics in the custom-made elements, et cetera. One of the main aims was to achieve different spaces through a highly relaxed and natural image, but with nods to colours representing the brand’s values.The final result succeeds in creating comfortable and dynamic, open-plan, multi-functional environments well adapted to new ways of working. This fosters both creativity and idea exchanges.
