After the last office renovation project in 2008 undertaken by Massive Design, this FMCG company’s corporate offices were considered one of the most creative in Poland, thanks to the implementation of green solutions and separating the office space into relevant teamwork and ad hoc meeting zones. After 10 years, the renowned FMCG Fortune 100 company again commissioned Massive Design to redesign and expand its existing office space in Warsaw.
An important part of the new design was creating a new office layout consisting of two zones: (1) a large reception and conference area available for use by external guests that also includes a separate area dedicated exclusively for internal staff use; and (2) a flexible working area consisting of a quiet zone and a multi-functional space with seating capacity for the entire office staff. Also integral to the redesign of the office interiors, as in the previous office, was to continue implementing advanced, user-friendly solutions that support day-to-day office interaction.
In addition to introducing activity-based working solutions integrated into the workstations, a wide range of innovative solutions were implemented to increase user comfort, resulting in the company obtaining a LEED certificate for the project. Particular emphasis was placed on using superior acoustic solutions, such as carpet tile on acoustic backing or double-glazed walls, which effectively eliminate noise from the communication zones and conference rooms. Intelligent employee-friendly office illumination was also incorporated into the design adapting the lighting level and tone to both interior and external building conditions.
Massive Design also created a more staff-friendly office in open plan with all office areas transparent, easily accessible and using a wide range of flexible workplace solutions. Innovative and welcoming with natural light, the office design reflects the business approach and DNA of the FMCG company.
