Interspace Limited has realized the hospitality-focused design for the CEO Suite coworking space located in Hong Kong. Working with a team of consultants selected by CEO Suite, Interspace developed and managed the complete design and build process for this 25,000 square foot serviced workplace in K11 Atelier at the Victoria Dockside development in the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront district, completed in the 3rd quarter of 2019. The client’s brief was to create a “hospitality focused,” premium serviced workplace as CEO Suite’s first business center in Hong Kong. A material palette of white marble, walnut and cherry hardwoods, cream and azure woven fabrics, and rose gold accents was selected after a comprehensive review process with the company founders. A special focus of the design was ensuring that the corridors retained the same level of finishing as the front of house areas and provided many opportunities to display large-scale commissioned artwork throughout the space. Fully customized, contract furnishings and feature lighting fixtures ensure the uniqueness of this location. Large-scale hand tufted rugs were produced to add warmth to the large communal areas. Extensive use of over-sized wood veneer paneling and custom patterned carpet throughout ensures a bespoke touch throughout every public and private space. Technology integration and automation is tightly integrated with the center’s design, including NFC door locks and lockers, facial recognition for after hours access, interactive displays and facilities booking in all meeting facilities, and even an app connected espresso machine! High speed wireless networking is provided in all company suites and common areas, keeping cabling to a minimum, while a center-wide PA system pipes in gentle background music which can be switched over to wireless broadcasting of speakers at hosted events.
