TruexCullins Architecture + Interior Design completed the Vermont SportsCar offices and showroom for their space in Milton, Vermont.
The Vermont SportsCar production facility and showroom highlights the top rally cars made in North America. Vermont SportsCar is the premier rally car preparation shop in North America and the home of Subaru Rally Team USA. When the company outgrew their former space, they enlisted TruexCullins Interiors, in collaboration with GVV Architects, to design a new 75,000 square foot facility. The building includes multiple production shops, collaborative office space, and exhibit areas for the devoted rally car fans who visit every year.
The entire space is designed to highlight the craftsmanship and technical precision of the custom rally cars produced on site. The assembly shop runs down the center of the building and is visible from multiple vantage points, including from a pedestrian bridge that connects the showroom to the office space. The dark showroom with dramatic lighting plays against the bright white interior of the assembly shop, each space focusing on the rally cars themselves, either on display or in production.
Race photography and memorabilia connects visitors to Vermont SportsCar’s history and identity, while local granite and reclaimed wood provide a nod to the company’s Vermont heritage.
