Evoke Projects completed the design of the Nexus Smart Hub offices located in Wyong, Australia.
Henry Kendall Group is a privately-owned company that has developed commercial, industrial, retail, residential and retirement projects for almost 70 years. Their latest project was a new tenancy office design and office fit-out for a private tenant in their Nexus Smart Hub.
Henry Kendall Group engaged Evoke Projects to create an office design with a fresh and contemporary vibe. The office design had to be high-tech, collaborative, functional and meet all the needs of their tenant’s business requirements.
Evoke worked closely with the private tenant to create an office fit-out that sets a new standard in the company’s work environment ethos.
The overall office design embraces wellness concepts to create a more positive employee experience which will contribute to health, productivity and skill retention benefits.
The colour palette in the office design blends with the two lower floors that can been seen through the central void. However, the additional use of softened blues and muted timber tones conveys a deep sense of calmness. It embodies the Central Coast’s tranquil beaches combined with a contemporary office design utilising black metal detailing and a grounding presence through the use of plants.
The new office fit-out spans an entire floor. Evoke created multiple collaboration and breakout areas to inspire the client’s employees however, it was important to find the right balance between the high number of workstations required and maintaining personal space within an open plan environment. Evoke achieved that balance in this ground-breaking office fit-out for the client.
