The task of the next room was functional zoning. The kitchen, bedroom, hallway and place for clothes were supposed to fit on a small area. I didn’t divide these zones with walls - I don’t like this. I used open spaces where every piece of furniture would be a decor in this interior. I did the same with the dressing room by making it open. I hung things on a hanger that I attached to the ceiling and made part of the wardrobe open. So.. things have become part of the interior and complement it as decor. Such a technique can be seen in clothing stores, where things lie on shelves or weigh on hangers, filling up a space.
The walls are still the same rough plaster, but the color is beige, neutral. Tiles on the floor as the color of the walls with the "warm floor" system. In the bedroom area, I paid special attention to the head and body of the bed. The head and carpet repeat the tighter shape of the sink and mirror in the bathroom creating a balance between these areas. The body of the bed goes into the shelves, and looks monolithic, that is what I achieved. The illumination above the headboard well emphasizes the relief of the plaster on this wall, eliminating the need to load it with a picture or some other object. I had many ideas with the forms of pendant lights above the shelves, but after several experiments I came to the form that you see now, it seemed easy for me to perceive
The dining and kitchen areas were a real test of creativity and originality. The wall separating the hallway and the dressing room was very long, which allowed me to make a dining area out of it. I cut a part of the wall under the table space. I really didn’t want to set up a regular table because it would be too obvious and simple. I believe that the design consists of bold and innovative approaches to the task, and now the wall is now a common part of the table above which I placed a lamp with a shelf where you can put wine and glasses.
It was already not so difficult to think over the kitchen zone, since the overall picture was already read, it only remained to enter the kitchen, which in color and in form would not stand out from the general concept.
The entrance area has a bulk-heated floor covered with polished concrete, which harmonizes very well with beige and concrete on the kitchen backsplash and countertop. On the wall I hung a picture from “theposterclub” I liked their diverse assortment for any interiors.
