- Strategic Investment Group (SIG) is an outsourced Chief Investment Officer, providing their clients with sophisticated and customized investment solutions. sshape worked with SIG to renovate their existing 36,600 sf space in Rossyln, Virginia. The main goal for this renovation-in-place was to create a flexible office that encourages collaboration while also taking advantage of the city views and natural light on all sides of the building. Upon entering the space, clients are welcomed into a warm and bright reception and seating area. The adjacent flexible conference center off the reception area provides a space for employees to meet with their clients or each other and an entertainment room for hosting events. An employee café with various seating options was designed on a prominent corner of the building, highlighting views of Washington, DC, and providing a space for employees to gather throughout the day. This human-centric design also features low workstation panels and glass office fronts to allow maximum light, visibility, and transparency.
