- Stevens & Bolton LLP partnered with DENTON to revitalise their office space and adapt to the evolving work landscape. They aimed to create a welcoming environment that combines the comforts of home with a pre-pandemic ambience, focusing on agile workspaces for diverse working styles and client meetings.
- DENTON collaborated with the Workplace Consultant engaged by Stevens & Bolton LLP in 2021 to develop a Change Management strategy for the business. As a result, the firm downsized from 3.5 floors to 2 in Wey House, driven by additional space demand and post-pandemic work styles.
- The design solution shifted from 70% cellular offices to a flexible 30%, incorporating private areas like libraries, phone booths, and working pods for the transition to open-plan spaces. The ground floor features a spacious town hall/breakout area, meeting spaces, and a client suite with video conferencing capabilities.
- Inspired by the picturesque surroundings near the River Wey, the modern design includes fluidity, branded colours, and elegant curves, resulting in a visually appealing workspace.
- Prioritising Sustainability and Wellbeing
- Sustainability was a key focus, with DENTON using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood and locally sourced furniture suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint and support their ESG policy. The project was designed and built in accordance with the SKA Silver guidelines, resulting in the achievement of a sustainability certification. Stevens & Bolton LLP also plan to pursue Fitwell accreditation for employee wellbeing.
