The Cav’Art limestone appears extensively throughout the home – in the sculptural kitchen island and splashback, statement fireplace, staircase, bathroom vanities, butler’s pantry and outdoor areas. Characterised by pale grey hues and fine white veining, the stone introduces subtle movement and texture without overwhelming the calm interior scheme. “It’s a very versatile and timeless stone,” says the designer. “It works well with anything so it can be paired with statement pieces, which is what we focused on when incorporating the furniture.”
The living area – a vast, stunning space framed by double-height glazing and sheer floor-to-ceiling curtains – is home to several statement pieces. A plinth-like marble coffee table with rippled, oceanic veining complements the home’s grand sense of scale, while its rounded edges are echoed in the soft curves of the dining table and chairs. Above the stairwell, an elemental brass chandelier delicately draws the eye upward, enhancing the home’s sense of light and openness.
