AC Residence | Right Angle Studio | 2025 | 新加坡

Within a residential enclave near the Singapore River, this residence is conceived to elevate the language of contemporary urban living. Tailored for a young family of four, the design interprets modern comfort as a dialogue between architectural rhythm and domestic intimacy amidst the city’s pulse.

Across its expanse, the apartment’s primary zone is framed by a pair of slanted fins flanking both ends—an intentional gesture that delineates and elongates the spatial axis. One side accommodates the entertainment ensemble, while the other features an intricate pantry, extending hospitality beyond the kitchen. Together with a composition of sculptural furnishings, the living and dining areas unfold as a continuous pavilion, flowing seamlessly into a zen balcony garden with sweeping city views.

Bespoke craftsmanship informs function with poise in the junior suites, where a custom-built deck and study configuration optimally leverages the generous ceiling height, creating a thoughtful vertical stack for rest and focus. The master suite is completely reimagined from its original shell, with a bathroom conceived as a tranquil sanctuary. Dual vanities mirror each other on opposing sides, while shower facilities are discreetly tucked behind monolithic sintered travertine walls, achieving a measured balance between openness and privacy.

Intricate layers of fluted detailing and ceiling articulation imbue the home with cohesive composure, reflecting the studio’s dedication to meticulousness and tactility.
