The layout was rethought to improve flow and make the most of natural light. The main living area opens directly onto the water, with furniture arranged to keep sightlines clear and movement easy. Instead of filling the space, the studio opted for sculptural, low-profile pieces and handcrafted accents that add interest without visual noise. Everything feels intentional, but nothing feels precious. At the centre of this Dubai apartment is a large marble kitchen island, designed as both a working surface and a focal point. Its solid, monolithic form gives the open-plan space structure, while still allowing the kitchen to blend seamlessly into the living and dining areas. Above, a gently curved ceiling softens the geometry of the room and helps visually connect the different zones, creating a sense of continuity throughout.
