The South Africa Lodge is a 15,000 SF residence located in the KwaZulu-Natal province designed with a unique structure, interiors, and program by GRADE to support and reinforce the mission of the Wild Tomorrow Fund: to offer donors an immersive, first-hand experience of the protected nature reserve and opportunities to partake in conservation efforts, encompassing the protection and restoration of land, wildlife, and local communities. The lodge is uniquely tailored to the sub-tropical climate of the South African bushveld, featuring vast indoor-outdoor terraces and viewing decks, communal living spaces, and stunning accommodations of five guest suites. A refined, modern architectural language juxtaposes raw contextual finishes, materials, and rich textures, providing an aesthetic that both honors and complements the site’s breathtaking natural beauty.
