The SX family expands further with the SX120, broadening the range with a series of designs that draw from the idea of opening up the aft section with a large cockpit and so shifting the volumes forward towards the bow. The boat extends over four decks connected by a central staircase: a sculptural and distinctive element clad externally in a metal-like film and internally in wood.
The large, 40 sqm beach area on the lower deck connects with a spacious interior lounge. On the same deck are four cabins, one of which can be transformed into another lounge when required, a hammam and an area for the crew.
The owner’s cabin is situated on the main deck, together with a spacious salon characterized by large windows that accentuate the connection between the inside and outside. There are also two bar areas, one on the lower deck and another on the main deck.
In addition to the wheelhouse, the upper deck also features a dining area with a large sofa as well as the sundeck, accessible via an external staircase, where the Smart Island has been created: a new system of fully modular seating that will become standard for Sanlorenzo vessels.
“The SX family is the most creative line of the last 30 years in my opinion and is now joined by the 120. The SX120 is a spectacular floating architecture. We have taken everything we learned from the other SX vessels, and we’ve put it all here. It has beaches, interconnecting decks, large openings…, a true floating villa within the context of an absolutely extraordinary project, which is the SX.” Piero Lissoni
