Confident, relaxed, refined, enduring … they’re the keywords that define the second volume of GlobeWest’s Collections 2026. Featuring 12 ranges and 350-plus products, it’s a not-insignificant statement both in terms of quantity and design intent, signalling the company’s commitment to remaining a force to be reckoned with in the Australian furniture and homewares market.

Volume #02’s sofas, chairs, tables, storage pieces and homewares all maintain the same sensibility: contemporary in form, relaxed in nature and elevated in materiality, crafted to reflect how Australians live now. “Our focus was on creating pieces that feel confident yet enduring, inspired by the way we gather in, unwind in and experience our homes today,” says Keti Lytras, GlobeWest’s head of creative.Comfort is key here, achieved through sculptural forms, softened silhouettes and generous upholstery. This sense of ease is nowhere better illustrated than in the playful Lumi occasional chair – in Sunkissed and Tapioca – whose chunky rounded form invites hours of lounging. Equally beckoning are two other stand-out seating options: the Hugo Rue sofa, which features a low-profile silhouette and folded fabric details, and the Tova occasional chair, where heavy mass meets structural blocking.

Thoughtful construction, clean lines and carved detailing define the collection’s tables and storage pieces. The round Helio dining table comes in smoked ash and shell, where the timber or veneer top, respectively, is anchored by two different circular legs: one in matching material, the other in a striking marble. More traditional in form is the solid-oak Ember dining table, whose asymmetrical angled table top is softened by a demi- bullnose profile, creating a table that is visually dynamic yet highly functional.Two sideboards of a distinctly different nature anchor the collection. Reminiscent of the beaten copper aesthetic of the 1970s, the Andes buffet in dark oak features intricate CNC carving across its doors, creating a richly textured facade that plays with shadow and depth. Subtle curves at the edge and corners add refinement to the rugged carving. More ’80s in feel is the Teddy – available in rich Washed Terracotta or classic Putty – where geometric doors with softened edges are contrasted with oversized cylindrical legs, which add a sense of playfulness.

Materiality plays a leading role, with GlobeWest’s Melbourne product and design team “pairing tactile fabrics with rich timbers and marble to bring warmth and depth,” says Lytras. “We focused on mixing finishes and textures through timber and marble combinations, two-tone upholstery, and timber veneer with upholstery, which we did with the Pluto woven buffet. The collection really celebrates visible grain, natural texture and quality upholstery – balancing softness and structure for a sophisticated yet inviting feel.”Volume #02 sees the introduction of an exclusive Warwick x GlobeWest fabric collaboration, Noyack Thyme, a contemporary, fresh soft green. The brand has also expanded its James Dunlop textile offering, with FibreGuard technology for enhanced durability.
