The space itself – a 1960s-era garage that operated as an exhaust workshop for more than 30 years – is the perfect reflection of how ZETR has also evolved since it began operating in 2017. “I really love that it’s so Australiana – red brick, rough concrete and over-engineered steel,” says Garth Elliott, founder and director of ZETR. “I think it says so much about our brand. We originated from such simple beginnings – in a dilapidated, concrete home garage – and we are proud to have an Australian identity. It’s that identity which fuels our creativity and drive to achieve, ultimately showing we can be a successful international brand from the bottom of the world.”Designed to encourage creativity and collaboration, the office features open work areas, meeting and breakout spaces, dedicated collaboration pods and a central kitchen where the team comes together each day. Beyond these shared zones sit a design workshop, warehouse and production facility, keeping design, prototyping and manufacturing connected under one roof.
