On the north coast of Mallorca in the mountainous town of Deià, a newly designed home explores material and craftsmanship with ease and intention. Behind the home is del Negro Studio, a newly established practice based in Soller, Mallorca. The home was requested to be “the most beautiful in Deià,” as studio’s founder Tille del Negro notes, who worked on the project with her husband, Moredesign architect Oro del Negro. The pair were already intimately acquainted with the property, as it was formerly the home of friends. “We spent a lot of summer nights having dinners there and lunching by the pool,” del Negro explains. “It was really a place we loved.”
