AnLan Shanghai represents the pinnacle of luxury living, where timeless cultural heritage converges with contemporary excellence. As the designated strategic design partner for this landmark development, 932 Design Group was commissioned to craft the interiors of the public spaces and show residences. Beyond creating functional environments, we envisioned each space as a living homage to the soul of Shanghai—a contemporary interpretation of the enduring elegance and cultural richness of the Haipai tradition.
For the cultural elite, true luxury transcends ornamentation; it is found in a deep connection to heritage and meaning. This philosophy shaped the very essence of AnLan, where the spirit of Haipai defines the design narrative—a timeless expression of Shanghai's cultural identity, founded upon the harmonious fusion of Eastern tradition and Western influence.
Haipai is the art of convergence, where the progressive spirit of the West harmoniously intertwines with the profound grace and enduring refinement of Chinese heritage.
The progression from the entrance foyer to the living room is choreographed as an immersive journey through a modern celebration of culture and elegance.
By embracing nature-inspired proportions and restrained detailing, we foster a harmonious resonance between contemporary design and historic architecture. Together, these elements shape a home that transcends function, becoming a sanctuary where beauty, tranquility, and the human spirit find lasting refuge.
Our vision extended far beyond functionality; each space was conceived as a living homage to the soul of Shanghai, offering a contemporary interpretation of the city’s rich Haipai heritage and cultural identity.

Inspired by the Haipai vision of the ideal dwelling, we embraced the inherent strengths of the architecture to redefine contemporary living. The interiors are carefully planned to fully capitalize on the panoramic floor-to-ceiling glazing, inviting abundant daylight and uninterrupted views into every space. Beyond the windows, the ever-evolving vitality of Shanghai unfolds as a magnificent living canvas, becoming an integral part of the home‘s daily experience.
At AnLan, we continually challenge the conventional boundaries of the traditional show residence. For 932 Design Group, design extends far beyond the decoration of a space—it is the thoughtful orchestration of a complete living experience and atmosphere.
Grounded in the elegance of Haipai culture and the architectural romance of Shanghai's former French Concession, the design is conceived as a timeless masterpiece—a private sanctuary of serenity and permanence, while serving as a distinguished expression of Shanghai’s identity.
