For 3daysofdesign 2026 in Copenhagen, we are tasked to transform Helligåndshuset into a space for pause, reflection and connection, where light, architecture and human presence came together in a shared experience. Set within one of the city’s oldest buildings, the installation explored the dialogue between a historic structure and a contemporary spatial intervention, allowing the church’s materiality, proportions and atmosphere to shape the experience. At the heart of the space, a large wooden table created a place for gathering as a point of encounter where visitors could slow down, exchange ideas or simply inhabit the atmosphere. The composition unfolded through different layers of light, material and texture, moving between the intimacy of the interior and the threshold between church and city. CENTER explored light as a quiet ritual: a way of shaping moments, revealing architectural qualities and creating environments for contemplation, connection and everyday experiences.
