East meets West through two intertwined paths: Chinoiserie—Europe's romantic 18th-century dream of the Orient; and Eclecticism—freely reconfiguring symbols from both worlds into contemporary expression.

"A Dialogue of Imagination and Reconstruction"
Chang'an Folding Dreams embodies this dialogue. Tang grandeur travels west, weaving Eastern imagery into European court fantasies. Dragon scales entwine with acanthus; cobalt blue drifts over Versailles; Chinese negative space rests in gilded frames.

Not replication, but resonance. Order as warp, fantasy as weft—a frozen, distant, sweet dream of the old East. Space becomes a vessel: carrying romantic misunderstandings of the past, while reflecting the boundless creative freedom of the present.
