加州W亨廷顿海滩酒店 W Huntington Beach/SOM

This design brings W’s signature glamour to the surfing culture of Huntington Beach. SOM developed a program of activities that helps indoor and outdoor social space perform at peak around the clock, maximizing guests’ opportunities for interaction and the hotel’s profit.

This research yielded innovative functional hybrids: a daytime pool cabana transforms after dark to host a romantic dinner for two, a pool deck doubles as a setting for sunrise yoga, and an Event Lawn accommodates volleyball one day and a trade show the next.
