Situated amidst a spectacular paradise of untouched nature and rich ancient culture, the private Residences of St. Regis Lijiang resort beautifully complement their stunning surroundings. To design the architectural shell, HBA took inspiration from the traditional rustic houses of Lijiang. Tall ceilings with exposed rough timber structures, plastered walls and a neutral color palette were used to create authentic and peaceful interior settings. The furnishings are a balance of beautifully detailed contemporary western pieces along with locally found oriental antiques that reflect the richness of Lijiang's unique culture and heritage. Ethnic skills and craftsmanship are visible throughout the spaces in form of intricate wooden carvings, exquisite bronze metalwork and thoughtfully curated pieces of art.
